missingWrote a review on Sept 09fresh atmosphereattentive serviceordinary dessertnoise disruptionslow service
The recent refurbishment gives a fresh look, enhancing the overall atmosphere. Breakfast featured a great selection and attentive service, while the steaks were notably high quality. the dessert options could be improved as they seemed a tad ordinary, and the noise from the pub below could be disruptive at times. Expectations for faster service at busy hours weren’t met either.

I loved how I could unwind in the sunny garden area and enjoy some live music during my stay. My room was comfy, although I struggled a bit with the shower's hot and cold settings – it took some time to figure out! it was a fantastic experience, and I’d recommend asking the staff for the best places to relax on-site. 😊

The twin room had condensation issues, but the gorgerous burger at dinner was delightful.

missingWrote a review on Jul 16lovely locationcomfortable beddingoutdated decor
The location has a lovely village atmosphere, perfect for leisurely walks. The bed and bedding were comfortable, providing a decent night's rest despite some noise.
Rooms exhibited signs of wear, particularly the peeling paint and outdated furniture in the four-bedroom cottage, which felt quite basic. The bathroom lacked proper maintenance with issues like a faulty toilet roll holder, stained walls, and a non-accessible shower not matching the expectations set online. There was a noticeable absence of modern conveniences such as a fridge for fresh milk, and the common areas, including the exterior of the cottage, also required attention with overflowing gutters and unkempt appearances.

The breakfast served up some deliciously fresh juice and a fab continental spread, while the staff were absolutely lovely. Couldn't fault the warm, cozy vibe of the place!
The room was a tad outdated—Slightly dreary vibes and the bathroom felt like a time capsule from the past. Not the best for tall folks with sloping roofs causing a right kerfuffle.

The room was clean and comfy, not super fancy, but it did the job. We had a decent amount of space and it was quiet since it was away from the main area. The bed was pretty comfortable, which was a plus. The only downside was that the decor felt a little outdated. it was alright for a short stay.
